19th Century sycamore top salvaged from an English bakery, repurposed as a coffee table on a bespoke made contemporary metal frame. Sycamore was the preferred choice of wood as a work surface by bakers during the late 1800s - mid 1900s. The beautifully pale top has lots of hackmarks which add wonderful character. There are visible woodworm holes which have been treated.
Perfect for use in loft, warehouse home or in a bar.
Measurements: 261cm long x 57cm wide x 42cm high.
